Middle School Eagles from David Emanuel Academy traveled to Sparta to play John Hancock Rebels on Thursday, September 22, and came back with a 20 – 8 victory. Tucker Free ran the ball 1-yard to grasp the middle school team’s first touchdown. A completed play from Free to Lake Bush that followed brought the score up 8 – 0. Another 6-points were earned by the Eagle team after a completed play from Free to Paxton Dixon for a 38-yard touchdown reception. Scoreboard numbers reflected 14 – 0. Free racked on final points for the Eagles by running the ball 10-yards.
