Middle School Eagles Defeat Fullington Trojans

David Emanuel Academy Middle School Eagles traveled to Pinehurst on Monday, October 3, to compete against the Fullington Academy Trojans and returned home with another victory, 34-22.

Tucker Free scored the first Eagle touchdown in the game with a 4-yard run. A 2-point play from Free to Paxton Dixon brought the score to 8-0. A 38-yard touchdown pass from Free to Dixon increased the Eagle team’s scoreboard numbers 14-6. Free then ran the ball for a completed 2-point play that followed. The score was 16-6.

Eagle points scored by Free for the remainder of the game included a 12-yard touchdown run followed by a 38-yard interception touchdown play. Both 2-point plays were deemed unsuccessful. Karson Kettles clinched the Stillmore team’s final game points with a 43-yard touchdown run for a scoreboard reflection of 34-14. The Trojans were able to squeeze in one final touchdown and 2-point completed play before the end of fourth quarter for the final 34-22 score.
