THEY’RE THE WINNERS
Dolores and Woody’s Independe3nt Softball team took top honors in the women’s softball league of Swainsboro-Emanuel County Recreation Department. Members were Ladelle Canady, Imogene Peebles, Jean Peacock, Peggy Hall, Ann McDaniel, Frances Sconyers, Helen Rountree, Linda Sconyers, Brenda Irvin, Jean Clements, and Ida Gray, with coach Roy Stroud. Not pictured was Rhonda Garrett, Donna Arnold, and Murrill Hutcheson.

MISS STOKES IS AWARDED SCHOLARSHIP
Miss Elizabeth Stokes of Twin City received a scholarship to study nursing through State Scholarship Commission. She studied at Sough Georgia College. Miss Stokes was a graduate of ECI, and graduated from the practical nursing class at Swainsboro Area Vocational-Technical School.
