Memory Lane: Oct. 30, 1991

From the Oct. 30, 1991 edition of The Forest-Blade:

Carving out a pumpkin for Halloween can be an interesting pastime, particularly if you’ve got an admiring audience. Here, Hollis Newsome, of Swainsboro, shows off his skill to Matthew Peebles, son of Mr. and Mrs. Danny Peebles, and Hillary Lamb, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Lamb.

Michael Womack, skipper; Brandi Canady, squire; and Mario Webb, knight, were among seniors at ECI taking an imaginary pilgrimage to Canterbury as a conclusion to their study of Geoffrey Chaucer’s The Canterbury Tales.
