YOUNGBLOOD WILL HEAD ONE-DAY DRIVE FOR BOY SCOUTS HERE NOV. 21

J.A. Youngblood, local petroleum dealer, headed the 1961 Boy Scout Fund Drive in Swainsboro. The drive was a one-day event. In announcing his acceptance as chairman of the drive, Mr. Youngblood said, “My own experiences in Scouting have taught me the value of this organization to the young people of our community.

Mrs. Burley Page, chairman Emanuel County Farm Bureau Women, announced that 75 women were invited to help in the Farm Bureau Membership Drive.
