JOYCE HEATH WINS STATE SCHOLARSHIP
Joyce Heath of Swainsboro received a scholarship to study nursing through the student aid program of the State Scholarship Commission of Georgia. Miss Heath is a graduate of SHS and attended Swainsboro Area Technical School.
GET JAYCEE SCHOLARSHIPS
Recipients of the annual Jaycee scholarships at SVTC were Jack Whitehead, majored in machine shop, and Connie Youmans, who followed the secretarial course. Present when the scholarships were awarded were Don Wilson, school counselor; Mr. Whitehead; and Miss Youmans. Making the presentation was Gary Curry, Jaycee president.
