Among students receiving Presidential Physical Fitness Awards at Swainsboro Elementary School were Craig Peebles, Donna Brinson, Rosemary Love, Lottie DuRant, Jessie Hale, Janice Hampton, Kenneth Maupin, Debbie Wyatt, Kay Scarboro, Teresa Daniels, Marie Johnson, and Terri Parrish.
RECEIVE GRANTS-IN-AID
Swainsboro High Boys’ Basketball Coach James White congratulates Ernest Wynn, Mike Youmans, and Willier Harrison upon receiving athletic scholarships to Georgia College in Milledgeville. Ernest and Willie were members of the 1970-71 SHS cage team and Mike was a standout the previous year.
