SHS HONOR GRADS
Seven members of the graduating class at SHS graduated with honors. Members include John Cadle, Chucky Moye, Michael Oglesby, Regina Buxton, Pearl Kirkland, Bertha Johnson, and Patricia Johnson.
RETIRING TEACHERS
Mrs. Hugh Coleman and Mrs. W.O. Phillips received a personal expression of gratitude from Emanuel County Superintendent Clyde Poole for their dedicated work in Emanuel County Schools. Mrs. Coleman taught at Swainsboro Elementary School and retired at the end of the school year. Mrs. Phillips officially retired in January, after a 31-year teaching career, but continued to substitute frequently.
