GAY CHOSEN FESTIVAL QUEEN
Miss Paulette Gay, student at ECI, reigned over festivities at Emanuel County Pine Tree Festival. Daughter of Mr. And Mrs. M.L. Gay of Twin City, she was crowned Pine Tree Festival queen during the annual beauty contest in Swainsboro High School auditorium. Her official escort was Eddie Brown.



CHAMPIONSHIP GOLFERS
Maurice Driggins holds the championship title of Emanuel County’s Pine Tree golf tournament. George DeLoach took second place honors in the championship flight in Thursday’s play-offs and championship in Flight B went to Butch Parrish of Swainsboro. With the winners are Dr. H.R. Frost tournament chairman, and Harold Knowlton, who assisted with trophy presentations. Gene Baird took top honors in Championship Fight C.
