Tigers Improve Record
The Swainsboro High School Tiger Baseball team has improved their season record to 3-2 with two wins last week. In the first game of week two, the Tigers defeated Jefferson county 5 to 3 with Chris Flanders as the winning pitcher with a record of 1-1. In the second game, the Tigers defeated Screven County 5-3.
McAllister is New Head Coach at ECI
Emanuel County Institute will open spring practice April 29 with a new football coach as veteran coach Bobby McAllister has joined the Bulldogs. “The spirit and rich tradition at ECI attracted me here,“ McAllister said. “It’s a big family at ECI and I am glad to be a part of that. Coming to a small school was an advantage because I will get to know all the kids from grade 6 to 12. We want to put the best football sports programs we possibly can on the field. I hope I can make everyone proud,“ he added.
