SHIRNERS DONATE TO GREENVILLE HOSPITAL
During their June 4 annual Spring Convention, members of the Swainsboro Shrine Club presented a check for $21,000 to the Alee Temple to be given to the Shriners Greenville Hospital in South Carolina. The money was raised by the River Rats during their 20th anniversary event. The River Rats had raised over $236,500 for worthwhile causes. Each January, the group votes on=which charity will benefit from their efforts. Pictured are Brad Williams, Past Potentate Warren Brown, Joey Crapps, 2011 Alee Temple Potentate Robert Kozlowski, Jr., William Riner, Past Potentate Mack Griffin, Johnny Mills, and Gary Hart.

DAVIS-PROCTOR HOUSE LISTED IN NATIONAL REGISTER OF HISTORIC PLACES
The Davis-Proctor house, located on the corner of First Avenue and North College St. in Twin City, was listed in the National Register of Historic Places on December 20, 2010. Owner Eileen Dudley, who lives in the house with her husband, David, collected and researched the necessary information to have the house listed.
