SHE’S RETIRING
Mrs. Marion Lewis admires the silver tray she received from the faculty and staff of Swainsboro Elementary School during the retirement luncheon in her honor. Mrs. Lewis retired after 30 years as a school teacher. Special guests at the luncheon at Western Sizzlin were Mrs. Lewis’ husband, Josh Lewis, and Miss. J.L. Lewis, Sr. The retiree also received a certificate of appreciation from the school.

Dennis Holley, member of the Emanuel County 4-H livestock judging team, accepted Angus heifer calf from Jack Wall of the Jack Wall Angus Farm in Bulloch County. Looking on is Sy Wright, Savannah Exchange Club president. Dennis received the calf by virtue of his merit in livestock production. He showed the calf at the Coastal Empire Fair in Savannah.
