NOOT IRVIN WINS NATIONAL TITLE AT AMA CHAMPIONSHIP
Noot Irvin of Swainsboro won the national title at the 2001 American Motorcycle Association Dirt Track Grand Championship in Lawrenceburg, IN, July 2. Irvin won six trophies including a gold cup, the national number one number plate for the 600 Pro Sport class, an embroidered cap that reads “National Champion”, as well as prize money. Traveling with Irvin was his wife, Karen Scott Irvin; and children Hannah, 12, and Scott, 5; and good friend, Jeff Henry.

MACY REEVES PERFORMING AT ‘FRONTIER CITY’ PARK
Macy Reeves, daughter of Bobby and Daisy Reeves, performed at “Frontier City”, an Oklahoma theme park owned and operated by the Six Flags corporation. A dance performance major, she auditioned in the spring and began June 1 performing in four shows a day, seven days a week.
