Sherry Harrison took the oath of office as she admitted to the State Bar of Georgia. Administering the oath is J. Carlton Lawson, Emanuel County clerk of courts. Witnessing the ceremony were Miss Harrison’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Adrian R. Harrison, and Middle Judicial Circuit Judge Walter C. McMillan Jr.
A GOOD INCENTIVE!
Mrs. Elnora Fields, member of the library staff of Franklin Memorial Library, presented a dollar bill to Christie Canady for reading one of the juvenile books picked by the secret donor. Fifty titles were chosen by the donor, who awarded young readers a dollar for reading the chosen titles. Christie is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Canady.
