‘DISTINCTIVE UNIT’
Mayor Hayes, senior Army instructor, looked on as Principle Von Johnson presented the certificate to C/LTC Bryan Patrick, Battalion Commander. Cadet Captain Willie Butler (Battalion X-O) and Cadet CSM Dustin Fennell (Battalion Executive Officer). Master Sgt. Brown, new Army instructor, also looked on.

MCNEELY RECEIVES SCHOLARSHIP
Matthew McNeely of DEA was selected as recipient of the Scholar/Athlete Award for the 2000-01 academic year. The award is presented annually by the GISA Coaches Association to recognize the hard work and dedication of the top student athletes in their association. There are only ten winners in each classification. He was a 2001 honor graduate, salutatorian, and star student at DEA.
