From the August 28, 1991 edition of The Forest-Blade:

LOOKING TO FUTURE?
The City of Twin City – and the folks pictured, seemed to be looking to the future. The photo was taken during a ground-breaking ceremony for a new fire station Jimmy Murphy and Mike Canady, constructors; Councilman George Archer, Mayor Dickson Durden, Volunteer Fire Chief John William Turner, and Councilman Ricky Collins.

GETTING EDUCATED
Home Hill, an Emanuel County resident and maintenance employee, at King Finishing in Dover, participated in a job-site educational program to improve his academic skills. The program, under the leadership of Ogeechee Technical Institute, gave employees the opportunity to improve their reading, writing, and arithmetic skills and prepared to take the GED test for a high school diploma. Shown with him is Jim Ogled, King Finishing vice president and general manager.
