Swainsboro Pre-K students Mille Scott, Lorenzo “Keith” Brinson, Ianne Smith, and Brock Hooks were learning about SPLOST for Education. Emanuel County voters got to vote on whether or not to continue the 1 cent tax.
TEACHERS OF THE YEAR
Superintendent of Schools Butch Frye congratulated 2001-2002 Teachers of the Year Lynn Torrence, SMS and Emanuel County; Shari Watt, SES; Kim Hooks, SPS; Cherie Hooks, SHS; Wanda Ellis, Adrian School of Performing Arts; and Sybil Johnson, TCE. Mrs. Torrence represented Emanuel County in Georgia Teacher of the Year competition.
