SHS Takes State Literary Title
Swainsboro High School captured first place at the State Class AA Literary meet at Mercer University, Macon, Saturday. Celebrating are Monica Claxton, Katherine Smith, John McLeod, Laurie Wamock, Jodi Farrow, Cornelius Brown, Julian Stevenson, Jody Nasworthy, and Michelle Pittman.
Emanuel Gobbler
Shawn Hooks of Swainsboro killed this 18-1/4 pound turkey Saturday, March 25, right here in Emanuel County. The gobbler sported an 11 1/4 beard.
