From Crider
Stillmore Fire Department has received a donation of $16,307.72 from Crider Poultry to purchase equipment for its fire truck. The donation has helped the lower department’s ISO rating from a Class 9 to a Class 6. “All citizens of Stillmore benefit from this donation,” said Swainsboro Fire Chief Mike Strobridge.
Ribbon Cutting
Ribbon cutting of the newly built St. Phillip Baptist Church was held Sunday, April 7. Pastor of the church is Rev. James E. Love. Sponsored by Swainsboro Emanuel County Chamber of Commerce, the event was attended by several local officials and community members.
