Mr. Mattie Hunter, age 68, of Twin City, passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2021, at University Hospital in Augusta following an extended illness. Funeral services were held Saturday, March 27, at 1 p.m. in the Johnson Chapel of Garfield.
Mrs. Hunter was born September 11, 1952, to the late Daisy Bostic and Sherp Bostic. She was married to Bubba Hunter of Statesboro. Mrs. Hunter was a beautiful soul that loved God, life, and her family, and always had a smile that brought joy to anyone she was around. She was a very out-spoken, caring, and loving person.
Mrs. Hunter leaves behind two daughters, Rebecca Hunter and Kisha Hunter, both of Metter; son, Danny Hunter of Twin City; brothers, Flag Bostic of Twin City, Jimmy Price of Augusta, and Bobby Bostic of Statesboro; sister, Rosie Lee Bostic of Swainsboro; many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Mosley’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
