Mrs. Mary Ann “Bobbi” Moore, 81, of Twin City, passed away Friday, March 26, 2021, at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah following an extended illness. Funeral services were Monday, March 29, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Reverend Ray Braddy officiating. Interment followed in Old Canoochee Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family received friends from 2 until 3 p.m. Monday, March 29, at Chapman Funeral Home. In compliance with the guidelines set by the CDC, 6-feet rule was enforced during visitation and service.

Pallbearers were Trai Johnson, Timmy Baker, Johnny Baker, Jimmy Neal, Rosby McKenzie, and Tim Durden. Honorary Pallbearers were Wes Wammock and Robbie Baker.

Mrs. Moore was born May 30, 1939, in Statesboro, to the late Johnny Baker and Pauline Williams Baker. She loved flowers, gardening, crafts, and fishing. Mrs. Moore was a homemaker, and worked at Twin City Shirt Factory, Argo Mills, and Ogeechee Home Health. She was a member of Twin City First Baptist Church for 43 years. Mrs. Moore is preceded in death by her parents; son, Gary Turner; sisters, Kathleen Nichols, Patia Martin, and Ann (Billi) Tucker.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Jerry Moore of Twin City; son, Stebo (Stacy) Moore of Twin City; brothers, Gene (Louise) Baker and Robert Baker, both of Twin City; sister, Linda (Kenny) Rich of Twin City; grandchildren, Chandler Moore, Mabry Moore, Wes Wammock, all of Twin City, and Morgan Rich of Garfield; great-grandchildren, Addi Rich and Gray Rich; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Chapman Funeral Home of Swainsboro was in charge of arrangements.
