Macaulay sentenced in Superior Court

he following occurred during the Emanuel County Superior Court July 2021 term:

Dustin Allen Macaulay negotiated a plea of guilty on one count criminal attempt to commit felony – furnish prohibited items to inmates, one count possession of methamphetamines, and one county possession of firearm by convicted felon. He was fined $50 and sentenced to 15 years and six months, with the first five years to be served in confinement and the remainder on probation. The defendant is to receive credit for time served in custody as determined by the custodian. Upon service of five years, the remainder of the sentence may on probation; provided, that the defendant shall comply with the conditions of probation imposed by the court as part of this sentence. The court sentences the defendant as a recidivist under O.C.G.A. § 17-10-7(c).

Joshua D. Garnto negotiated a plea of guilty on three counts entering an automobile and one count criminal damage to property in the second degree. He was fined $50 and sentenced to 20 years probation. The above sentence may be served on probation provided that the defendant shall comply with the conditions of probation imposed by the court as part of this sentence.
