Ms. Luetricia Parrish, 59, of Swainsboro, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2023, at her residence. Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 5, at 3 p.m. at Lester Grove Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Swainsboro City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, March 4, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Chapman Funeral Home.

Ms. Parrish was born July 1, 1963, in Swainsboro, to the late Sonny Parrish and Irene Strobridge Brinson. Luetricia, affectional known as “Lue”, received her Heavenly wings at God’s appointed time. She was a faithful member of Lester Grove Baptist Church in Swainsboro. Lue was a graduate of the Emanuel County School System. Upon completion of high school, Lue began her work portfolio: Bi-Lo/Food Lion, Dairy Queen, Time Saver, and Robert’s Quick Shop. She was well-known for her passion for shopping for clothes, “high-high” heels, costume jewelry, and let’s not forget her love of wigs. Lue always dressed to impress, no matter the occasion. She was fortunate enough to have several families to cherish her beloved memories. Ms. Parrish is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Tracy Cross; and brother, Richard Lee Cross.

Ms. Parrish is survived by her brother, Richard Brinson of Swainsboro; sisters, Essie Mae Brinson, Martha Ann Brinson and Mary Esther Wadley, all of Swainsboro; special aunt, Marie Strobridge Jordan of Swainsboro; a devoted friend, Tonja Wadley of Swainsboro; several cousins, other relatives and friends.
