The Miss SMS/SHS Annual Pageant was held Friday, April 23, at the Swainsboro/Emanuel County Auditorium. A record crowd came out to cheer these beautiful, young ladies on and to support Mr. Lindy Sikes and the SHS Band of Gold.
Pageant results are as follows:
Miss SMS Winner for 2021 was awarded to Ana Lopez. Kali Screws placed 1st Runner Up, Allie Brooke Taylor placed 2nd Runner Up, and Zaylin De'Nae Lee was the 3rd Runner Up. People's Choice went to Rory Reynolds, Miss Congeniality went to Lee, with Miss
Photogenic going to Screws.
Miss SHS Winner for 2021 was awarded to Melanie Purcell. Sarah Beasley placed 1st Runner Up, Marina Warren placed 2nd Runner Up, Ayla Thompson placed 3rd Runner Up, and Erin Hood was the 4th Runner Up. People's Choice went to Renvy Murdock and Miss Congeniality and Miss Photogenic went to Purcell.
Pageant and Band Booster Coordinator Darby Gates appreciates all parent and
student volunteers that came out to help make this pageant a rousing success.
