Funeral services for Lizzie Randall Medlock, 79, of Swainsboro were held Saturday, September 5, 2020 3 p.m. at Eastbrook Cemetery and Mausoleum with Evangelist Jeff Starkes officiating. The family received friends Saturday, September 5, from 2 until 3 p.m. at Eastbrook Cemetery and Mausoleum Chapel. In compliance with the guidelines set by the CDC, 6 feet rule will be enforced during visitation and service. She passed away September 3, at East Georgia Regional Hospital in Statesboro following an extended illness.
Ms. Lizzie Randall Medlock was born August 29, 1941 in Barnwell, SC, to the late Lewis Randall and Janie Mae Lambert Randall. She loved to collect antiques, yard sales, and shopping. She also enjoyed cooking when she was younger. Medlock was of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Henry Medlock; and brothers, John D. Randall and Franklin Randall.
Survivors include her sons, Greg Randall and Henry C. Medlock, both of Swainsboro; and stepsons, Jerome (Polly) Medlock and Ronnie Medlock, both of Metter.
Chapman Funeral Home of Swainsboro was in charge of arrangements.
