Library performs Christmas-themed puppet play for SPS students

Jessica Appleby and Shari Watt from Franklin Memorial Library performed a Christmas puppet play for grades kindergarten through second at Swainsboro Primary School. The title of the play was "Rudolph the No-Nose Reindeer". The story was about how Rudolph lost his bright red nose and could not guide Santa's sleigh on Christmas eve. He thought the meaning of Christmas was receiving presents, but he learned the true meaning of Christmas was spreading joy, helping the needy, and showing love. Then his nose returned to bright red again.

Attending children learned Christmas sign language as they sung Christmas songs as well.
