On Thursday, Jan. 14, David Emanuel Academy’s Lady Eagles basketball team traveled to Greensboro, where they competed and defeated the Patriots of Nathanael Greene Academy Inc., 56-42. Scoring points for an Eagle victory were seniors Jordyn Bell with 5 points and Liz Dye with 10 points; junior Sara Jo Perkins, 9 points; sophomores Molly Hammock, 1 point, and Ann Carol Daniel, 4 points; and freshman Bree Wimberly, 27 points.
