Ms. Kristi Michelle Swann, 49, of Swainsboro, passed away Friday, April 2, 2021, at Meadows Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Funeral services were Monday, April 5, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Reverend Larry Jennings officiating. Interment followed in the Union Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family received friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Monday, April 5, at Chapman Funeral Home. In compliance with the guidelines set by the CDC, 6-feet rule was enforced during visitation and service.
Pallbearers were Tony Bailey, Larry Bailey, Joey Gibson, Daryl Hill, Michael Tapley, and Donald Hall.
Ms. Swann was born December 11, 1971, at DeKalb General Hospital in Atlanta, to James Kenneth Wyatt and Yvonne Harn Stringer. Ms. Swann graduated from Effingham County High School in 1989 with honors.  She received her bachelor degree in nursing in 2008 from Armstrong Atlantic University. Ms. Swann served on several committees for Battered/Abused Women, and was currently serving as vice president of Confederate Roses Chapter and the Heritage Roses, a non-profit organization, dedicated to honoring and preserving our confederate history.  She served in the official Ladies Auxiliary for the Sons of Confederate Veterans, and as State of Georgia Public Relations Director for the OCR. Ms. Swann is preceded in death by her husband, John Swann; paternal grandparents, Marshall & Lucille Wyatt; and maternal grandparents, Elliott & Edna Harn. 
Survivors include her parents; sons, Jon Marshall Sauls, Jr. (Tori Owens) of Rincon and Cody Alexander Scott of Swainsboro; brother, Brandon M. Stephens (Courtney) of Springfield; sisters, DeAnna Wyatt Fournier (Eric) of Springfield, Melissa A. Knowlton (Rob) of Springfield, and Buffy Hill (Daryl) of Swainsboro; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Chapman Funeral Home of Swainsboro was in charge of arrangements.
