Swainsboro Kiwanis Club donated $250 to Future Generation Youth School Supply Drive. This is the 19th annual school supply drive held that supports the local community youth. The distribution was held Saturday, July 30, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the corner of West Martin Luther King Blvd. and North Green Street at Robert's Quick Stop parking lot.

This is a Christ-called ministry that Ronnie Shuemake and local businesses and organizations have been providing for 19 years so that community children have school supplies needed to succeed.

"Kiwanis is proud to provide hands on volunteer help for the day of the distribution along with a financial donation. Helping our community youth is what Kiwanis is all about and this project fits our mission 100 percent,” said Kiwanis President Dianna Wedincamp.
