Last week, Swainsboro High School 2020 graduates A.J. Kingsberry and Immanuel Hackett received their SHS Boys Basketball Team MVP trophies following the 2019-2020 basketball season when the team competed and won at state level.
In a 2020 write up by Troup Brinson featured in The Blade, Kingsberry and Hackett were deemed electric guards during the school’s successful basketball season last year, providing easy offense for the Tigers.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there was a delay with the school receiving trophy awards. SHS Basketball Coach Brice Hobbs presented trophies to Kingsberry and Hackett during a sports banquet.
