The following occurred during the Emanuel County Superior Court January 2021 term:
David Eric Kersey negotiated a plea of guilty on one count burglary 1st degree and one count theft by taking. He was fined $50 and sentenced to 20 years. The first 10 years are to be served in confinement and the remainder to be served on probation.
In a different criminal case, Kersey negotiated a plea of guilty on two counts burglary 2nd degree. For this, he was fined $50 and sentenced to 10 years.
