Ms. Kathryn Love, 68, of Soperton passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at Community Hospice following an extended illness. Graveside service was held Saturday, October 17 at 11 a.m. at Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Chaplain John Daughtry, Chaplain Richard Barnard, and Mr. Dustin Stewart officiating. The family received friends Friday, October 16 from 5 to 8 p.m. In compliance with the guidelines set by the CDC, 6--feet rule was enforced during visitation and service.

Pallbearers were Coty Barwick, Corey Barwick, Nick Brantley, Austin Akridge, Kyle Morris, and Johnathan Clements.

Ms. Love was born September 4, 1952 in Soperton to the late Carlos Beasley and Estelle Black Beasley. She is preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Charles Love. Ms. Love was born and raised in Treutlen County. She enjoyed spending time with her husband, telling scary stories, and playing with her great-grandkids. Ms. Love was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her sons, Mann Akridge of Adrian and Pete (Patty) Akridge of Stillmore; daughters, Melissa (Earl) Barwick of Soperton, Michelle Brantley of Soperton, and Sabrina (Lonny) Owens of Adairsville; step-children, Tammy Love of Brunswick and Joe Love of Oak Park; 32 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Chapman Funeral Home of Swainsboro was in charge of arrangements.
