Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mrs. Jordan Lane Mason, age 29, of Swainsboro, on Sunday, September 20, 2020 at the Emanuel Medical Center. Funeral services were Wednesday, September 23 at 3 p.m. in the Peebles-Curry Memorial Chapel with Rev. Paul Leigh officiating and Rev. Lee Lacey assisting.
Pallbearers were Jon Daniel Glover, Robbie Gilder, Matt Murry and Austin Peebles. Honorary escorts were the Middle Georgia Family Dentistry work family, ECI Class of 2009, and Washington EMC work family.
Mrs. Mason was born October 19, 1990 in Augusta to John Lanier Griswold and Teresa Jo Daniels. She was a 2009 graduate of ECI and was a member of the ECI Softball Team. Mrs. Mason received an Associate’s Degree from Ogeechee Technical College in Expanded Function Dental Assisting and was employed as a Dental Service Coordinator with Middle Georgia Family Dentistry. She was a member of the Swainsboro First Baptist Church, loved the beach, and UGA Bulldog Softball and Football. Mrs. Mason's joy was her nieces and nephews, and spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Kenneth E. and Annie Jo Daniels, and Frank and Alice Rich.
Survivors include her Husband, Johnathan Mason of Swainsboro; mother, Teresa Jo Daniels of Swainsboro; father, Lanier Griswold (Joy) of Swainsboro; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ronnie and Sheila Mason of Sandersville; sister, Katie Griswold of Swainsboro; brother, Buck Griswold of Swainsboro; sisters-in-law, Ashley Haynes (Allan) and Jennifer Hodges (Brian), all of Sandersville; brother-in-law, Andrew Smith (Alyson) of Milledgeville; maternal aunt, Cindy Daniels of Swainsboro; maternal uncle, Ken Daniels of Swainsboro; cousins, Jolie Roberts (Daniel) of Statesboro and Jay Daniels of Pooler; nieces, Charley Hodges and Ava Smith; nephew, Gracen Hodges; great nephews, Jacob Roberts and Landon Roberts; and her fur babies, Mattie and Bailey.
