John Mark Bright, age 75, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2022, at The Atrium Health Navient Baldwin Hospital in Milledgeville, following an extended illness. A Celebration of Life was held Saturday, May 21, at 11 a.m. at the Swainsboro City Cemetery with Bishop Bertha Jones officiating and Rev. Melvin Adams, Jr. presiding.
John was born December 17, 1946, to the late Elder Mozelle Steely and St. Mark Bright. At a young age, he joined William Grove Holiness Church of a Living God. John attended school in Swainsboro. He was employed as a brick mason, and as a Wiring Tech for AT&T in Atlanta. John will be remembere3d as a person with a kind and giving heart.
Mr. Bright leaves to cherish his memories with his brothers, Moses (Margaret) Bright Sr, Jesse (Kaytrene) Bright Sr, and Isaac (Teresa) Bright Sr, all of Swainsboro, and Bobby (Ann) Bright of Hazlehurst; two sisters, Leona (Cephas) Oglesby of Fayetteville, NC and Dawn Shivers of Swainsboro; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Mosley’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
