On the appointment of Jarriel, Mayor Donaldson said, “We are lucky to have someone like Chief Jarriel working for the people of Twin City. His level of experience in law enforcement is impressive. I hope that the citizens of Twin City will reach out to Chief Jarriel and make him feel welcome.”

On his new position, Chief Jarriel stated, “I look forward to bringing my experience to serve the citizens and visitors of Twin City. My intentions are to lead, educate, and motivate the officers of the Twin City Police Department to provide the professional services of a modern-day police department the citizens deserve. I encourage the citizens to stop by and provide me with any suggestions, knowledge, or feedback that would better help me serve them as the new Chief of Police.”

The City will host a formal swearing-in ceremony for Chief Jarriel at a later day. The community will be invited to participate.
