Jamichael “Mike Kirkland, 30, departed this life on earth on July 3, 2021, when the Lord said to His precious son, “Well done my good and faithful servant, come home and take your rest”. Funeral service was held Sunday, July 11, at 2 p.m. in the Swainsboro City Auditorium with Pastor Amos Handsom as Eulogist.
Mr. Kirkland was born July 30, 1990, in Swainsboro, to Sharon Kirkland and Walter Worthen. Jamichael is now with his sister, Kendra Kirkland (Bug) and his grandfather, Booker T. Kirkland. They welcomed him home with open arms.
Mr. Kirkland leaves to cherish his memories with his parents; children, Destiny Kirkland, McKenzie Stegall, and Malani Parker, all of Swainsboro, Keylan and Kylan Henry, both of Statesboro, and Ava Yankee of Augusta; grandmother, Estella Kirkland of Swainsboro; brothers and sisters, Lakesha Angus, Timothy Worthen, Kasheema Watson, Trell Wadley, Jacori Marion, Alicia Worthen, and Ezekiel Worthen; six loving aunts, Michelle Kirkland, Kimbly Dixon, Tracy Kirkland, Gwen Foster, and Mary Worthen, all of Swainsboro, and Connie Frances of OK; uncle, Steven Kirkland of Swainsboro; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, classmates, and special friends.
Mosley’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
