It's Not Too Late

I know life is busy right now and you could be caught up with everyday life. When that happens, usually you will miss an important appointment or assignment. There are many things where you might have been too late. For instance, renewing your licenses before your birthday. You could have been too late to catch a flight although you had a ticket. You can also wait too late to register and miss your opportunity to vote.

Please know, there is one thing which is always an open enrollment for more than two-thousand years. That is an invitation to be restored back to God through his Son, Jesus Christ. He is still waiting for you to accept his invitation. If you are reading this article, it's not too late. Regardless, of your age or your condition, or what you have done, you still have time to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Please be reminded he is coming back soon.

There is a parable in Matthew chapter twenty-five where Jesus tells a scenario of a wedding and his return. It's about the ten virgins. The Bible tells us that they were all clean and fellowshipping together. The foolish virgins waited too late to get their lamps filled with oil. The bridegroom returned at midnight. When everyone lite their lamps, the wise virgins’ lamps kept burning. The foolish virgins’ lamps went out. They went to buy oil. When they returned, the door was shut, and they missed the wedding. They waited too late.

Don't be like the foolish virgins and get locked out. Be wise and accept Jesus now. Be prepared for his return. (St. John 14:1-6). Respond to the invite. Jesus is knocking at the door of your heart. Check your lamp. Be sure it is filled with oil, which, is the anointing, which is the Holy Spirit. Please let him in. It's not too late. (St. John 3:16-17).
