According to the county commissioners’ Monday Covid-19 update released August 30, the total active cases of COVID-19 in Emanuel County has increased from 257 to 272 since August 23.
The report on August 23 was as follows:

• 3,323 Confirmed cases
• 2,972 Recovered
• 94 Deaths
This week’s most updated information made available on August 30 is as follows:
• 272 Active cases
• 3,688 Confirmed cases
• 3,321 Recovered
• 95 Deaths
This week’s active count of 272 indicates a increase of 15 active cases, an increase of 365 confirmed cases, an increase of 349 recoveries and an increased death of 1 since the August 23 report.
