Don’t forget to be in Downtown Swainsboro this Sunday, July 3, to attend the Swainsboro Jaycee’s first annual Freedom Fest: Red, Wet, and Blue Parade set to begin at 6 :30 p.m. Bring your buckets, your water guns, super soakers, and of course your towel as the Jaycees kick off this year’s Freedom Fest with a city-wide water fight between parade participants and parade attendees. The event will also feature food vendors, a street dance, and fireworks. The parade will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Green Street and will be followed by live entertainment at the Boneyard at 7:30 p.m. and the Jaycee’s annual fireworks display set to begin at approximately 9 p.m.
