Hometown Public Servant: Travis Beach

This week’s Hometown Public Servant is Emanuel County’s new Transfer Station Superintendent Travis Beach. With 25 years of experience as a construction/heavy equipment operator, Beach was promoted to his new position after working his way up the ranks with the county road department.
“I look forward to being the transfer station superintendent and I believe hard work and dedication is the key to any job. Thank you for the opportunity.” Beach said in regard to his new employment role.
In his spare time, Beach enjoys gardening, camping at the late and spending time with his family and friends. He and his wife, Wendy, have been married for 28 years and have three sons, Kyle, Dakota and Coy; two daughter in-laws, Erin and Anna; and three grandchildren, Gracie, Emmie and Cooper.
