The Emanuel County Historic Preservation Society will host its January meeting on Thursday, January 26 at 7 p.m. at the Varner 4-H Building. Bring a dish to share in our potluck supper. Our program should be interesting after the beautiful wreaths were placed at some cemeteries this past Christmas, sponsored by our county’s veterans and the Wreaths Across America program. Johnny Tapley will give a summary of that event. Christian Novak will present his Military Education Preservation project which should be informational to all.
Membership is not required to attend our functions. We hope you will come hear these interesting people. We had a really good year last year with tours starting back at the museum and membership is up. We strive to present our county’s history in many ways at Longview Farm and the Farm and Home Museum.
