Grand jury returns 15 true bills

The October 2021 term of Emanuel County Grand Jury reconvened Tuesday, January 4, and considered 15 bills of indictment presented by the District Attorney’s Office. The grand jurors returned true bills for all cases as follows:

Scott Michael George one count exploitation and intimidation of disabled adult and one count deposit account fraud.

Stephanie Layne Roberson one count burglary in the first degree, one count criminal damage to property in the second degree and one count obstruction of an officer.

Stephanie Layne Roberson one count aggravated assault.

Thurston Lee Badie one count kidnapping, two counts aggravated assault (family violence) and one count possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

Fred Patrick Raymond one count robbery by sudden snatching and one count criminal trespass.

Steven Lance Futch one count theft by taking and one count burglary in the second degree.

David Alan Freeman one count by taking.

Shonquzz Jovan Bostic one count possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, one count possession of methamphetamine, one count possession of Alprazolam, one count suspended license and one count suspended registration.

Kelvin Leroy Marion one count aggravated assault (family violence), one count terroristic threats and one count simple battery (family violence).

Jeremy Ryan Rogers-Lane one count burglary in the first degree and one count impersonation an officer.

Niko De'Marious Gates one count interference with government property.

Teresa Newman one count exploitation and intimidation of disabled, adult, elder person, or resident.

Melody Nichole Dennis two counts obstruction of an officer, two counts terroristic threats and one count disorderly conduct.
