Grand Jury returns 13 true bills, 1 no bill

The April 2021 term of the Emanuel County Grand Jury reconvened Tuesday, April 20, 2021, and considered 14 bills of indictment presented by the District Attorney’s Office. The grand jurors returned 13 true bills and one no bill. There being no further business, the grand jury recessed, subject to recall.
True Bills
Bobby Lee Parker – One count theft by taking.
Carlton Lee Daniels – One count aggravated assault, one count burglary in the first degree, and one count criminal trespass.
Demario Antoinio Nelson – One count possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, one count possession of drug related objects, and one count speeding.
Sheena Vinetta Huston – Two counts homicide by vehicle in the first degree and one count serious injury by vehicle.
Brian Antonio Coleman – Two counts homicide by vehicle in the first degree, one count driving under the influence, and one count reckless driving.
Jerrial Jermaine Deloach and Gwendolyn Shankie Robertson – One count cruelty to a child in the first degree (Deloach and Robertson) and one count terroristic threats (Robertson).

Bobby Lee Parker – One count possession of methamphetamine and one count suspended license.
Dominique Antoine Dixon – One count possession of a firearm by a first offender probationer.
Rakeem Terezze Rogers – Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Octravius Mandel Johnson – One count aggravated assault (family violence), one count aggravated assault, one count possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, two counts cruelty to a child in the third degree, and one count possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Justin Mark Driggers – One count possession of methamphetamine, one count obstruction of an officer, and one count giving false information to a law enforcement officer.
William Eugene Thompson – One count arson in the first degree and one count disorderly conduct.
Phillip Emanuel Carswell – One count possession of prohibited item by inmate.
No Bill
Jerry Armstrong III – One count fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, one count too fast for conditions, three stop sign violations, and one failure to maintain lane.
