Grand Jury returns 11 true bills, 5 no bills

The January 2023 term of the Emanuel County Grand Jury reconvened Tuesday, February 28, 2023, with the Honorable Robert S. Reeves presiding. Paul Dorsett served as foreperson and Kaitlyn Arnold served as clerk. John Allen Bailey served as bailiff.

The grand jury considered 16 bills of indictment, involving 19 defendants, submitted to it by the office of the District Attorney, returning 11 true bills and five no bills.
