The January 2025 term of the Emanuel County Grand Jury convened Tuesday, January 28, 2025, with The Honorable Robert S. Reeves presiding. The Grand Jurors elected Ashley Tankersley to serve as Foreperson, Hope Henry to serve as Assistant Foreperson and Alaina McClain to serve as Clerk. The Grand Jurors and Bailiff Patrick Sweet were sworn in by Judge Reeves as to their duties. The grand jury considered 13 bills of indictment, involving defendants, submitted to it by the office of the District Attorney, returning 11 true bills and 2 no bills.
