The October 2021 term of Emanuel County Grand Jury convened Tuesday, October 12, and considered 10 bills of indictment presented by the District Attorney’s Office. With the Honorable Judge Tommy J. Smith presiding, the grand jurors returned true bills for all cases as follows:

Lashaun Dean Black - Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana With Intent to Distribute, Possession of Drug Related Objects and Abandonment of Dangerous Drugs.
Sean Maceo Cuyler - Aggravated Assault, Simple Battery, and Cruelty to a Child in the Third Degree.
Corderro Javante Johnson - Aggravated Battery.
Donald Irwin Marsh - Invasion of Privacy and Distributing Obscene Material.
Yolanda Nicole Artis - Cruelty to a Child in the Second Degree.
Keldrin Marquann Akins aka Rico Blackwell - Terroristic Threats and Giving False Information to a Law Enforcement Officer .
Darius Keith Allison - Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana With Intent to Distribute, and Speeding.
Brian Antonio Coleman - Homicide by Vehicle in the First Degree, Driving Under the Influence, Homicide by Vehicle in the First Degree, and Reckless Driving.
Stephanie Rae Jean - Theft by Taking Financial Transaction Card Fraud.
