Ms. Grace Hickox Dupper, 86, of Swainsboro passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at Retirement Inn following an extended illness. Funeral services were held Thursday, October 15 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Reverend Morris Brantley officiating. Interment followed at Eastbrook Cemetery & Mausoleum. The family received friends Thursday, October 15 from 10 to 11 a.m. In compliance with the guidelines set by the CDC, 6--feet rule was enforced during visitation and service.

Pallbearers were David Parham, Giles Way, Tommy Way, and Curtis Hickox.

Ms. Dupper was born February 21, 1934 in Savannah to the late Hampton Lee Hickox and Marie Stroud Way Hickox. She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Debra Henry; sons, Glenn Henry and Randall Henry; and brother, Curtis Hickox. Ms. Dupper enjoyed going to the mountains, going to the Senior Center, and cooking. She loved her family and her church. Ms. Dupper was a member of Swainsboro First Church of the Nazarene, where she taught Sunday School.

Survivors include her son, Richard Henry of Rome; daughters, Brenda (John) Horne of Cartersville and Jan Yarbrough of Jasper, AL; brothers, Gibson (Martha) Way, Lamar (Mona) Way, and Wayne (Carolyn) Way, all of Swainsboro; granddaughters, Rachael Wheeler, Rachelle Wheeler, Brittany Moore, and Amanda (Evan) McClosky; great-grandchildren, Jayla Ford, MaKynli Wheeler, and Kyrin Wheeler; and several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Chapman Funeral Home of Swainsboro was in charge of arrangements.
