From the Blade family to yours: We wish you all a very happy Thanksgiving!

Posted

When you think of Thanksgiving, your mind may paint a portrait of the most savory, southern comfort-food that expands the corners of your grandmothers’ table. Every room is filled to the rim with the smell of homemade goodness and the sounds of familiar laughter that intrigue you to come-on-in. The scene is one that Norman Rockwell would be proud of. However, as time passes and we grow older, so do the ones who fill those spaces and make the inviting atmosphere what it is. We hope that this Thanksgiving you truly take advantage of all that it provides for you. Put your phone down and ask your grandpa a million and one questions about life, help your grandmother, or mother in the kitchen and get that recipe that you’ve always wanted, reminisce with your siblings and cousins on the days that have passed and make a promise to spend more time together, take a moment to sit with gratitude and soak up every ounce of the love that surrounds you, and before you leave make sure you take plenty to go and hug them a little longer. These are the important memories that you won’t regret making. We hope each and every one of you have a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving! Our office will be closed Thursday, November 24, and Friday, November 25. We will resume normal working hours on Monday, November 28.
