Franklin Memorial Library’s Jessica Appleby and Shari Watt went to the Swainsboro Primary School and performed a puppet show called, "Guess Who's not Coming to Thanksgiving Dinner?" It was about a scarecrow who saved a turkey from being on the Thanksgiving dinner table and how they formed a friendship.
Watt also told a story called, "The Old Woman who Lived in the Vinegar Bottle." It was about a woman who could never be content. She was granted wishes from the good fairy. With each new wish, the house she lived in became bigger and better, but she was still not thankful.
Storytime wrapped up with the classes doing the "turkey hokey pokey".
