Farm Bureau recognizes High School art winners

Emanuel County Farm Bureau recently awarded cash prizes and certificates to four Swainsboro High School students for the Farm Bureau Art contest for 2022. Georgia Farm Bureau Ag in the Classroom sponsors this contest each year for students in grades 9-12 to highlight the talents of local students, as well as helping them understand the importance of agriculture in our lives. Students were asked to draw a scene depicting Georgia agriculture. Tisey Powell won first place; Mariah Jones, second place; and Emily Turner and Allie Taylor tied for third place. Shari Watt, ECFB Women’s Committee chairman, presented the awards.
